Our mission is to provide efficient, effective, and reliable water and wastewater utility services in a manner that respects the natural environment.
The SDWSC has been in the process of working with federal, state and local entities to provide water services to the historic community of Sandbranch, one of the only remaining unincorporated areas within Dallas county. The Sandbranch community is located approximately 14 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
The community currently does not have a water and wastewater system which requires the residents to use well water and/or transport water to the residence from other outside sources.
The SDWSC Board works on behalf of the Sandbranch Community by listening to the concerns of the citizens and sharing those concerns with federal and local government entities/officials in an effort to bring water to the residents.
Collaborating entities and entities of interests:
The SDWSC board is a body of community elected officials working collectively to push the movement of bringing the basic necessity of water to the Community of Sandbranch.
We believe in equity for all and depend on the power of partnerships to deliver the immediate and long-term needs of Sandbranch.
